About

Presently, I am a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Physics and NanoCore-NUSNNI, NUS, Singapore.

Together with my group members, I am trying to grow various oxide thin films using PLD and understand their phonon, electron, spin and orbital degrees of freedom by using various tools & techniques. I am also trying to learn the various properties of graphene and working towards its possible applications using oxide substrates as gate.

Education:

PhD (Physics) from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, in 2010.

MSc (Physics) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, Assam, in 2002.

BSc (Physics) from Goalpara College (Gauhati University), Assam, in 2000.
