About

I am currently working in the field of Active Matter. I try to imitate dry granular particles as a "living" matter, where particles absorb energy from a certain "nutrient bath" and perform motion in a "spontaneously broken symmetry" plane. The situation can be regarded as a driven non-equilibrium system and aim is to study  non-equilibrium statistical physics. Before that, I have worked on Rheological properties of soft matter which essentially is "neither liquid nor solid or both liquid and solid" (e.g. toothpaste, shaving cream, shampoo...etc). In particular I have worked on sedimentation of metal balls and rise of air bubbles in a viscoelastic gel.
